Project summary:

The inspectors at a wastewater treatment plant found a leak in one of their raw sewage intake pipes. The repair was more difficult as the leak was located adjacent to where the pipe went through a concrete wall. Advanced FRP Systems provided a 4-layer carbon fiber based repair system. It was installed externally around the circumference of the pipe and will provide a long-term solution, despite continued internal corrosion.
