Project summary:

A steel manufacturing facility found a leak on a manway flange connection on a critical storage tank. The tank could not be taken offline, but the liquid level was run down as much as possible and the application team was able to install a fast-setting, moisture cured urethane wrap over the entire flange joint. The wrap cures in 30 minutes or less. 8 layers of the MCU wrap were required but the leak was stopped and stayed contained once the tank level was brought back up.
