A carbon steel mud mixing tank was sent for refurbishment due to a through-wall failure and significant pitting on the base and sidewalls likely caused by corrosion.
Advanced FRP Systems used a high build, chemically resistant, and abrasion resistant novolac epoxy coating system to protect this tank from corrosion, erosion, and chemical attack during the operation.
