Project summary:
A wastewater treatment facility identified leaks in two concrete wastewater pipes near a train track and a major refinery. The concrete pipes had several cracks where water could be seen slowly coming out of the pipes. Advanced FRP designed a composite repair system that will strengthen the pipes to eliminate future cracking and create a liquid-tight seal to stop wastewater from leaking out. The project was completed in less than one week while the pipes were still online. The solution was solvent-free, environmentally friendly, and easy to install.
