Project summary:

The sodium hypochlorite containment area at a wastewater treatment plant required recoating. Advanced FRP Systems developed a solution that first required the removal of the existing coating and proper surface preparation. The concrete was then sealed with a penetrating epoxy primer and a chemically resistant novolac epoxy was applied in two coats to ensure pinhole free containment. The solution will provide protection to the containment structure for 20 plus years.
