Project summary:

A wastewater treatment plant operator required a chemically resistant flooring system to protect against any splashing or spilling of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite. After contacting Advanced FRP Systems, a solution was provided that met the requirements. The expansion joints were first replaced, then the concrete was primed with a penetrating epoxy primer. Two coats of a 100% Solids, epoxy novolac coating system were then applied to complete the system and provide the necessary protection to the flooring.
