Project summary:

Inspectors at an oil field chemical company found a small pinhole in a recently purchased and previously used tank. Prior to deploying the tank to the field, they used an Advanced FRP Systems carbon fiber repair kit to provide a long-term solution to the pinhole. 6 layers of high-strength, chemically resistant, carbon fiber composite was applied to the outside of the tank that will provide a minimum service life of 20 years.
