Project summary:

A sand filtration tank at a chemical manufacturing plant was experiencing through-wall failures and deep pitting caused by microbially induced corrosion (MIC). The previous coating was removed from the entire tank and all its compartments and an immersion-grade epoxy coating was applied to protect the steel from MIC and other forms of corrosion.
